Michael Schmidt, MBA, serves as Vice President of Strategic Innovations at Orlando Health since October 2008. In this role, Michael is responsible for directing strategic innovation initiatives, overseeing the Corporate Office of Clinical Research, and ensuring research regulatory compliance. Michael's extensive experience includes leadership positions at Orlando Health Foundation, where communication and engagement strategies were developed, and as Director of Digital Media & Philanthropy, focusing on digital marketing for Arnold Palmer Medical Center. Prior consulting experience with Children of the Nations International in Malawi involved advising senior management on national strategy and organizational procedures, while earlier roles included management at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club. Michael holds an MBA from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
