Michael Schwartz

Michael Schwartz has extensive experience in quality assurance within the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry. Michael is currently the Head of Quality Assurance at Orna Therapeutics since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at Curadel, LLC from June 2021 to December 2021, and at Ascentage Pharma from January 2021 to June 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior QA Consultant at Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices from August 2020 to December 2020. From May 2018 to August 2020, they served as the Senior QA Director at Translate Bio. Michael also has previous experience as the Director of QA at Concert Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from November 2015 to May 2018, and as a QA - Consultant at Avedro, Inc. in August 2015. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at Verastem in September 2015, and as the QA Director at AKPA from June 2012 to July 2015. Michael'swork experience also includes a role as an Associate Director at Ziopharm Oncology from May 2011 to June 2012.

Michael Schwartz earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology, General from Brandeis University in the period from 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Certificate in Clinical Trials from Boston University School of Medicine from 2008 to 2009.
