Scott Besteman

Scott Besteman is an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in paramedicine and education. Currently serving as a Critical Care Paramedic and Advanced Care Flight Paramedic at Ornge since May 2008, Scott has also been a Lab Instructor and Clinical Facilitator at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology since September 2013, focusing on the training of Primary Care and Advanced Care Paramedic students. Previous roles include Paramedic Education Facilitator at RPPEO from March 2017 to December 2018 and Advanced Care Paramedic for the City of Ottawa from October 2010 to June 2014, as well as Primary Care Paramedic for the City of Ottawa from November 2006 to May 2008. Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in Life Science from McMaster University and an Advanced Care Flight Paramedic certification from the Ornge Academy of Transport Medicine.
