Aoife Nic Lochlainn has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Ornua since January 2016, specializing in commercial contracts, intellectual property, corporate transactions, and data protection. Prior to this role, Aoife held the position of In-house Solicitor at EirGrid, focusing on commercial contracts, intellectual property, and regulatory affairs. Aoife began their career at LK Shields, where responsibilities included corporate law, commercial law, intellectual property law, and competition law, initially as a Trainee Solicitor before becoming an Associate Solicitor. Aoife's academic credentials include a Solicitor degree from the Law Society of Ireland, an M.Econ.Sc. from University College Dublin, and multiple law degrees from the University of Galway and Université Toulouse 1 Capitole, complemented by diplomas in In-House Practice and Technology & Intellectual Property Law from the Law Society of Ireland.
