Louisa Kessi

Louisa Kessi, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Research and Development at Orosys SAS, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this role, Louisa was the Principal Research and Development Specialist at PSPDFKit from January 2021 to August 2023, focusing on applied mathematics and computer science. Louisa has also held significant positions at Alstom as a Research and Development Scientist Lead, and at Lawrence Berkeley Labs as a Machine Learning and Applied Mathematics Researcher. With expertise in machine learning, computer vision, and image processing, Louisa has contributed to various projects, including the development of innovative software for color segmentation and document analysis. Louisa completed a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning and Computer Vision at INSA Lyon, alongside holding master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Mouloud MAMMERI University of Tizi-Ouzou.
