Jenny Arias has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jenny started their career at LEGIS, where they worked as an Assistant Accountant, gaining experience in various accounting roles. Jenny quickly adapted to the systems, policies, and procedures of the company and assisted in implementing a new finance software.
Following their time at LEGIS, Jenny joined Comscentre, where they held multiple positions. Jenny began as a Cost Accountant and subsequently served as a Senior Accountant and Admin Supervisor before becoming the Financial Controller. In these roles, they were responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting. Jenny also played a key role in implementing SAP and improving company-wide systems and processes.
Most recently, Jenny worked at Orro Group as the Director of Finance for the Networks division. Jenny was instrumental in maximizing cash flow, controlling profit and loss, and ensuring compliance with group policies. Jenny also contributed to the successful merger of the Networks division within the Orro Group.
Throughout their career, Jenny has demonstrated strong financial, analytical, and accounting skills. Jenny has experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and preparing financial statements. Jenny is adept at working with external auditors and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
Jenny Arias is currently in progress with the CPA Australia Program, pursuing a CPA program. Prior to this, they obtained a degree from the Central Board of Accountants - JCC in Colombia in 2007. This degree qualified their as a Public Accountant Colombia, equivalent to a CPA. In addition, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University Libre of Colombia in South America, which they completed from 2002 to 2006.
