David Roux

David Roux is a financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and finance across various industries. Currently serving as Head of Financial Accounting & Controlling and Lead Financial Controller at Ørsted since May 2020, David previously held the position of Financial Controller at Quantum Discoveries from July 2019 to May 2020. Prior to this, David spent over thirteen years at Aberdeen Standard Investments in roles including Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, Head of Finance, Business Performance Analyst, and Fund Analyst. Early career experiences include positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Senior Fund Accountant, Deutsche Bank as Fund Accountant, Independent News & Media as Financial Accountant, and Deloitte South Africa as Senior Associate. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Audit and Tax from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika.
