Jørn Mester

Jørn Mester is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management within the energy and telecommunications sectors. Currently serving as Senior Lead Procurement Manager for Floating Wind at Ørsted since February 2017, Jørn previously held positions such as Head of Procurement for Asia Pacific at Ørsted and Lead Contract Manager for DONG Energy Wind Power. Jørn's career includes leadership roles at Maersk Drilling as Director of Supply Chain & Procurement, and various managerial positions at Nokia, encompassing sourcing and project management in mobile communications. Early career experiences include mechanical design engineering at Alcatel Denmark Space A/S and a research fellowship at the Technical University of Denmark. Jørn holds an Executive MBA from Henley Business School, a Diploma in Engineering Business Administration from Copenhagen University College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Mechatronics from DTU.
