Torben Krarup

Torben Krarup is an experienced leader in the energy sector, currently serving as the Head of Strategy & Transformation for Project Services at Ørsted since August 2024. Prior roles include Chief Project Maturation Officer at Innargi and positions at Ørsted where Krarup headed Power Generation Project Management and Foundations Project Management, overseeing global offshore wind farm projects. With a significant tenure at Maersk Oil, Krarup held various senior roles culminating as Vice President, leading initiatives during the company’s acquisition by Total and managing substantial petroleum engineering operations. Earlier in their career, Krarup was involved with the Danish Working Environment Authority as Director for Offshore activities, ensuring compliance and safety in offshore operations. Krarup holds a Master’s degree in Geology from Aarhus University.
