Bert Kramer

Bert Kramer possesses extensive experience in climate research and risk management within the finance sector. Currently serving as the Head of Climate Research in Climate & ESG Solutions at Ortec Finance since January 2008, Kramer's previous roles include Senior Business Specialist, Senior Consultant in Insurance Risk Management, and Team Manager of Research. Concurrently, Kramer has been a Lecturer at the University of Groningen since January 2014, teaching courses on Asset Liability Management and Climate Risk, while also supervising master theses. Kramer's earlier career features positions as Managing Director at ORTEC, Consultant at Ortec Finance, and Assistant Professor of Finance at Universiteit van Tilburg. Kramer's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Management & Organization and a Master's Degree in Econometrics, both from the University of Groningen.
