Maarten Niederer

Maarten Niederer, CFA, has extensive experience in data management and investment performance, currently serving as Chapter Lead Data Management at Ortec Finance since February 2008. In this role, Maarten collaborates with development teams on data transformations, machine learning, and quality control, while previously holding various positions in the Investment Performance team focused on the PEARL product. Earlier experience includes working as a part-time Full Stack Web Developer at MotoZoom and completing a research project on emotion recognition during a traineeship at Logica. Maarten also participated in a project with De Nationale DenkTank analyzing the Dutch education system. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Applied Computing Science and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Utrecht University. Key skills include ColdFusion, SQL, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
