Velonda Gee Dantzler

VeLonda Gee Dantzler has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. VeLonda Gee currently holds the position of Director of Engagement and Organizational Effectiveness at OrthoCarolina. Prior to that, they founded their own consulting agency, VYD Consulting Agency, in 2015. At the Medical University of South Carolina, they served as Director and also as the HR Director for Talent Management and Development. VeLonda Gee was an Adjunct Faculty at the College of Charleston, where they taught from 2017 to 2020. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Education Specialist at Palmetto Health, Health Promotion Coordinator at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, and Program Coordinator at McLeod Health.

VeLonda Gee Dantzler obtained a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Development from Webster University between the years 2002 and 2004. VeLonda Gee also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health, which they acquired from the University of South Carolina from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, VeLonda has obtained various certifications, including an Inclusive and Ethical Leadership Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in 2022, a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the same institution in 2021, and an Executive Leadership certification from LinkedIn in 2020. VeLonda Gee has also earned certifications in Strategic Thinking, Executive Decision-Making, and Lean Six Sigma White Belt, among others.
