Martin Gardener

Martin Gardener is an experienced professional in the fields of materials science and data analysis, currently serving as the Implant Development Lead at ORTHOSON Ltd since January 2021. With a background as a private consultant specializing in AI and machine learning data analysis since March 2006, Martin has also held significant roles such as Production Manager at Xerion Healthcare Ltd, where expertise in synthetic route development for radiotherapy nanoparticles was demonstrated. Previous positions include Senior Research Scientist at Element Six, Team Leader at Oxford Advanced Surfaces, and Senior Scientist at Oxonica, contributing to advancements in nanotechnology and materials chemistry. Martin Gardener holds a PhD in Materials Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University and a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry from the University of South Wales.
