Ted Pless

Ted Pless, MBA, PMP has a strong background in senior IT leadership roles. Ted is currently the Senior Director of IT at OrthoVirginia, where they work closely with the CIO to budget, plan, and meet the IT demands of the organization. Ted also oversees cyber and IT security management functions. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director of IT Operations at Carilion Clinic, where they were responsible for the operational maintenance and modernization of all IT infrastructure assets. Ted has also held positions at Mission Health, where they managed a team of engineers and architects and was accountable for the design, implementation, and support of all IT solutions and services for the healthcare enterprise. Ted has experience in managing network and unified communications, as well as IT security and architecture. Earlier in their career, they worked at the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts, where they held roles in IT security and architecture, as well as project management and lead engineering.

Ted Pless, MBA, PMP has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, which they obtained from 1981 to 1985. In 1987, they attended Navy AOCS, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. Ted later pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Milligan College between 2017 and 2018. In 2011, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.org.
