Rick Jenkins has a significant amount of experience in the retail industry, starting their career in 1979 at Kinney Shoe Corp. where they held various roles including Buyer, Market Consultant, District Manager, and Store Manager until 1995. Rick then went on to work at Shoe Carnival as a Buyer, managing merchandise inventory for over 240 retail outlets. From 2003 to 2005, Jenkins worked at Champs Sports as a Buyer, responsible for managing inventory for over 550 U.S. and Canadian stores. Rick then transitioned to Foot Locker as the VP Divisional Merchandise Manager, overseeing sales and marketing plans for 550 stores in the U.S. and Canada until 2008. Jenkins then joined Sears Holdings Corporation as a Divisional Merchandise Manager, leading finance, planning, buying, and marketing teams for over 800 Sears full line stores. In 2013, Jenkins joined Orva Shoes where they held several roles including Executive VP, Director of Merchandising, EVP GMM, and currently serving as the President and GMM. In their current role, they have developed a new mission statement, implemented marketing and e-commerce processes, and led the expansion of branded partners. Overall, Jenkins has a strong background in merchandising, sales, and marketing, along with experience in leadership and strategic planning.
Rick Jenkins attended Gadsden State Community College and studied Business Administration and Management. Rick later pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree at the same institution. However, the specific start and end years for each of these educational experiences are unknown.
