Sudhakar Rao

Sudhakar Rao is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience in Operations, Production, and Commissioning of large-scale Syngas, LNG, Ammonia, and Hydrogen production plants. Currently serving as Senior Manager (Production) at Qatar Petroleum since August 2004, Sudhakar has a strong background working in diverse multinational environments across India, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, South Africa, and Qatar, including the commissioning of four large Syngas plants utilizing Haldor Topsoe technology. Previously, Sudhakar held senior roles at NFCL, Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Company, Krishak Bharati Cooperative Limited, and DCM Shriram LTD, demonstrating a robust career progression from Production Foreman to Senior Manager. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Rajasthan, various postgraduate degrees in Occupational Health and Safety, Process Safety Management, and two MBAs in Human Resources Management and Production Management.
