Jacob Schmitz

Jacob Schmitz possesses over a decade of experience in the oil and gas industry, holding various engineering and project management roles. Currently, as an Engineer/Project Manager at Oryx Oilfield Services, LLC since November 2015, Jacob has contributed to the development of execution plans and project schedules while actively participating in the bidding process and managing field-level project activities. Previous experience includes roles as Facility Engineer at Discovery Natural Resources LLC, where Jacob coordinated management of change and procurement processes, and as Facility/Project Engineer at Nicholas Consulting Group, focusing on project design and cost estimation. Jacob's early career included positions at Apache Corporation and Maldonado Roustabout, where responsibilities ranged from production engineering and economic analysis to supervising roustabout crews. Jacob holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology from The University of Texas Permian Basin.
