Ignacio Aladro is the current Vice President of Business Development at Osana, a company that provides technological infrastructure for the healthcare industry in Latin America. Ignacio is responsible for transforming how people access healthcare services and creating the infrastructure for a new kind of experience - one with greater convenience, outcomes, and value. Osana’s mission is to enable accessible and affordable health services through technology.
Before their current role at Osana, Aladro served as an Advisor for the International Health Financing Unit at the Ministry of Health in Argentina. In this role, they were responsible for providing advice on how to best finance health services in Argentina. Ignacio also served as the Director of Content for Healthandtech at iProfesional.com, a website that provides information on various topics related to health and technology. In this role, Aladro was responsible for overseeing all of the website’s health-related content.
Prior to their work in the private sector, Aladro worked for various government organizations in Argentina. Ignacio served as the Director of Information for the Ministry of Health in the Government of Buenos Aires Province and as the Coordinator of Health Standards for the Ministry of Health in the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. In these roles, Aladro was responsible for managing all of the health-related information for these organizations.
Aladro began their career as a medical researcher at the Universidad Nacional de General San Martín. Ignacio then worked as an Analyst for Faro Digital ONG, an organization that works to promote digital inclusion in Argentina. Ignacio then worked as a Neurologist at INSSJP, a hospital in Buenos Aires.
Aladro has dedicated their career to improving access to healthcare services in Argentina. Ignacio'sexperience in both the public and private sectors has given him a unique perspective on how to best improve healthcare delivery in Argentina.
Ignacio Aladro has a medical degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, a diploma in Economics and Health Policy from the Universidad Nacional de José Clemente Paz, a postgraduate degree in Health Information Systems Management from the Instituto Universitario Hospital Italiano, and a research fellowship from the Universidad Nacional de General San Martín. Ignacio is also a specialist in neurology with a residency from the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
