Emerald W.

Emerald W. has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Emerald started their career in 2009 as an Access & Retention Counselor for the VIP Scholars Program at UCLA. From 2010 to 2011, they transitioned to the role of Resident Advisor for the Pathway Program at UCLA Extension. In 2011, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at University Credit Union.

In 2014, Emerald joined Osborn School District as a Resource Teacher and held this role until 2020. During this time, they gained experience in federal programs as a Federal Programs Specialist from 2020 to 2021. In January 2022, they were promoted to the position of Director of Human Resources at Osborn School District.

In 2018, Emerald also worked as an Education Training Consultant at Public Consulting Group. Their responsibilities included becoming a subject matter expert in various educational content and providing support to several districts, such as Broward County Public Schools, Nassau Bahamas, Chicago Public Schools, New York City Department of Education, and Zion Benton.
