Ricky Brincat

Ricky Brincat has a diverse work experience. Ricky is currently working as an Organizational Change Management professional at San Diego Gas & Electric since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a GIS Consultant at Osceola Consulting, LLC since January 2018. Additionally, Ricky has experience as an FAA 107 Licensed Commercial Drone Pilot since March 2017, where they conducted various operations such as creating 3D models and capturing events. Ricky also pursued a Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Redlands, which they completed in September 2017. Ricky has served as a Student Assistant for the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation during the GEOINT 2017 Symposium. Ricky has also worked as a Bartender at P.F. Chang's China Bistro, a Peer Research Consultant at California State University, San Bernardino, a GIS Intern at Galante Real Estate, a Barista at Starbucks, and a Customer Experience Manager at Michaels Stores.

Ricky Brincat holds a Master's degree in GIS from the University of Redlands, which they obtained in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS from California State University-San Bernardino, completing their studies in 2016. Ricky also has an Geography AA-T degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from Mt. San Jacinto College. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including being a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in May 2021 and a GIS Technician, Journeyman Apprentice from the State of California in July 2019. Ricky has acquired various other certifications related to GIS and geospatial technology from institutions such as Esri and the Federal Aviation Administration.
