Ed Olesen is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience at the Osceola County Sheriff's Office. Since April 2012, Ed has served as the Director of the Osceola Narcotics Investigative Bureau while also holding the position of Lieutenant overseeing Training and Recruiting, focusing on compliance with Florida State Statutes. Previous roles include Sergeant in the Special Operations Division, supervising the Crimes Against Persons Unit, and Narcotics Enforcement Team Agent, conducting undercover operations. Prior to joining the Sheriff's Office, Ed worked at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) in the Threat Mitigation Unit, contributing to global terrorism deterrence efforts. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California Coast University.
