Joe Friedrichsen is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in IT infrastructure, operations, and strategic business engagement. Currently serving on the Board of Directors at OSHEAN, Inc. since January 2024, Joe aims to leverage industry knowledge to assist small companies in optimizing IT investments. As Managing Director of Infrastructure and Operations at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island since October 2016, Joe has led significant initiatives, such as cloud migration and the implementation of Microsoft Copilot/ChatGPT, achieving notable efficiency gains. Additionally, Joe has held various leadership roles at Fidelity Investments, where transformative strategies in software engineering and product management were successfully executed. With a background that includes advising Apexa Corporation and managing technology operations at Travelers Insurance and Aetna, Joe combines a solid foundation in technology with an emphasis on enhancing business value and operational quality. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Northeastern University.
