Grace C.

Grace C. has an extensive work experience in the medical and animal care industries. In 2010, they began their career at Serco as a Level 1 Swimming Teacher and Pool Assistant. In 2015, they moved to Envigo as a Home Office Licenced Animal Care Technician, where they managed up to 4,000 animals, organised axenic and Specific Pathogen Free Isolators, and performed detailed health checks on Research Models. In 2018, they joined University of Oxford as a Research Technician, providing technical support to scientists and managing the animal unit and wet lab. In 2020, they began working at Osler Diagnostics as a Senior Laboratory Technician, where they were responsible for developing the Osler Origin, a portable lab that provides lab-quality diagnostics. Finally, in 2022, they became a Small Business Owner and Digital Illustrator at Gracie Goose Designs, a small independent digital art company.

Grace C. completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Foundation Year) in Forensic Science at Staffordshire University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Magdalen College School from 2011 to 2013, and Royal Latin School from 2007 to 2011. In addition, they have obtained numerous certifications, including Biosafety Practitioner Level 1 (Foundation) from The University of Edinburgh in November 2020, 5S Management from The Lean Six Sigma Company in September 2020, CoSHH Risk Assessment from British Safety Council in September 2020, Fire Warden from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in June 2020, Manual Handling from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in May 2020, Level 2 Diploma in Laboratory Animal Science and Technology from Institute of Animal Technology in May 2018, Procedure Individual License from UK Home Office in December 2016, and Gas Safe Using Compressed Cylinder Gases Safely: Non-Oxy Fuel from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in June 2020.
