Carol M. has a diverse work experience spanning various legal and corporate roles. Carol currently works at Osmow's as the Chief Legal Officer, where they provide legal advice and trains various departments on compliance with legislation. Prior to this, they were the Senior Legal Counsel at Osmow's and also worked as a Legal Counsel, negotiating and reviewing various contracts. Carol is also the Co-Founder and President of Suitly Apparel Inc. and previously served as a Business/Corporate Lawyer at their own firm, Carol Mechedjian, Barrister & Solicitor. Carol gained legal experience as a student at law at Miller Thomson LLP and as a summer law student at the same firm. In addition, they have worked as a Case Manager at Innocence Project, a Volunteer Intake Duty Counsel at Community Legal Aid Services Programme (CLASP), a Data Specialist at The Nielsen Company, and a Procurement and Accounts Payable, Business Shared Services Summer Student at Labatt Breweries of Canada.
Carol M. completed their education at the International School of Choueifat from 1990 to 2003. Carol then attended the University of Toronto from 2003 to 2007, earning an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Psychology. Finally, from 2007 to 2010, they attended York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, where they obtained a J.D. degree.
