Paul Thorpe

Paul Thorpe has extensive experience in the field of computer science, currently serving as a Senior Consultant, VP of R&D, and Software Developer at OSS Nokalva, Inc. since October 1989. Additionally, Paul leads the ITU-T SG17 ASN.1 Project and holds the position of Vice Chair of T3 at INCITS, both since 2013 and 2007 respectively. Since 1999, Paul has also been an editor of the ASN.1 standard, overseeing the 2015 edition's approval and publication. Previous roles include being a Board Member at the Connected Vehicle Trade Association in 2009 and a Programmer/Analyst at Loma Linda University from 1984 to 1989. Paul's academic background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from La Sierra University.
