Laura Ekl

Laura Ekl is an Associate Medical Illustrator at Osso VR. Laura has over four years of experience in the medical software industry, having previously worked as a Curriculum Content Integrator for Technology Enhanced Learning at BodyViz. In this role, Laura was responsible for managing the start-to-finish production cycle of anatomical eLearning modules via Adobe Captivate, as well as sales and marketing support, DICOM dataset management, software roadmap planning, and customer support. Laura has a strong background in sales and customer service, with a proven track record of providing excellent support to customers. Laura is also skilled in image creation and video editing, and has a keen eye for detail.

Laura Ekl graduated from high school in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Laura then attended Iowa State University, where they earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biological and Pre-Medical Illustration, with minors in Mathematics and Biology. Laura continued their education at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where they earned a Master’s degree in Medical Illustration/Medical Illustrator. Laura also has three LinkedIn Certifications: C# for Unity Game Development, Learning Adobe Animate CC, and Unity 3D 2019 Essential Training.
