Varun Ponmudi

Varun Ponmudi is currently a Sales Development Representative at Osso VR. Prior to that, they were a Northeast Team Lead, Field Marketing for Beyond Meat from July 2018 to December 2021. Varun was also a Staff Engineer at Stryker from September 2016 to October 2018, and a Project Engineer at Globus Medical from October 2012 to September 2016.

During their time at Globus Medical, Varun led the development of several devices used in spine surgery, including the ACDF Retractor system, the Direct Look system, and the MARS 3VL Retractor system. Varun also served as a product manager-engineer for the Capitol and Zyfuse systems.

Varun’s experience in product development and engineering has helped him make a smooth transition into their current role at Osso VR, where they are responsible for sales and business development.

Varun Ponmudi completed a Masters of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University. Prior to that, they completed a B.A. in Biology at Cornell University. Varun also attended Governors school. Varun has a certification from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies in Plant-Based Nutrition Program.

They are on a team with Drew Williams - Senior Enterprise Account Manager, Madeline Wessinger - Partner Success Manager, and Brad Kroyer - Sales Development Representative. Their manager is Dave Howe, VP, Sales.
