Yoko Pittini-Yamada

Yoko Pittini-Yamada is currently a Materials Engineer at Parmaco Metal Injection Mold AG since August 2022. Prior to this, Yoko has held positions such as CSC at Osterwalder AG and Head of Research and Development at Meyer Sintermetall AG, focusing on powder metallurgy. Yoko also worked as a Scientist at Empa, specializing in soft magnetic materials and composites. Formerly, Yoko was an Assistant Professor at Tohoku University, Japan, where the focus was on various composites for dental implants, aerospace applications, and shape memory alloys. Yoko holds a Ph.D. in Engineering with a specialization in Materials Processing from Tohoku University.
