Gage Desser

Gage Desser is an experienced publishing professional with a strong background in editorial and marketing roles. Currently serving as an Associate Editor at Other Press since March 2019, Gage has progressed from Assistant Editor to Editorial Assistant, involved in reading submissions, writing reports, managing permissions, and conducting award research. Previous experiences include internships at Penguin Random House in editorial and marketing capacities, where Gage wrote reader reports, copyedited texts, and coordinated media outreach. Additional internships at Macmillan and W. W. Norton & Company, Inc. provided valuable insights into publicity and sales. Gage holds a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Fordham University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from California State University, Northridge.
