Tom R.

Tom R. has over 25 years of work experience, starting in 1992 as a Staff Accountant at The Rockbestos Company. From 1996 to 2001, they worked at Gerber Scientific, Inc., holding various financial management roles, including Assistant Group Controller, Assistant Controller for Europe, and Controller for the Far East region. At Barnes Group Inc., they served as Controller for the US division and later became the General Manager of Barnes Distribution Canada. Tom then joined The Heico Companies LLC as President and CEO of Pettibone LLC from 2011 to 2015. From 2018 to 2021, they were the President and CEO of GHSP, an electronic controls company. Currently, Tom is the President and CEO of OTR Engineered Solutions, a global business specializing in off-the-road tire and wheel products. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in financial management, P/L responsibility, strategic planning, and business development.

Tom R. completed their Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut, which they attended from 1988 to 1992. Tom later pursued their Master of Business Administration with a focus on International Finance from Newport University, studying there from 1996 to 1999. Prior to their time at the University of Connecticut, they briefly attended the University of Hartford in 1987-1988, but did not obtain a degree.
