Andy Forbes has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Andy started their career at the National Institutes of Health in 1998 as an Intramural Research Training Award Fellowship recipient. In 2003, they joined Otsuka and held the position of Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs - CNS until 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at Genentech as a Senior Medical Science Director. Andy then returned to Otsuka in 2013 and held various roles, including Senior Director, Global Clinical Development - CNS and Senior Director, Early Development and Translational Sciences. Andy is currently in the position of Senior Director, Early Development and Translational Sciences at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Companies (U.S.).
Andy Forbes pursued their education at Washington and Lee University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Neuroscience. Andy later attended the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine from 1993 to 1998, and successfully earned their doctoral degree in Neuroscience.
