Derek Hall

Derek Hall is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since November 2019, following a comprehensive academic and research career at McGill University from May 2011 to November 2019. During this period, Derek held various roles, including Doctoral Researcher and Graduate Teaching Assistant for the BIOC 300D1 and 300D2 courses, where responsibilities included teaching the fundamentals of bench work research to students. Derek also served as a Summer Research Assistant. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry earned from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry, also from McGill University.
