Jay Baltz

Jay Baltz has over 27 years of work experience in various roles. Jay started in 1993 as an Associate Scientific Director and Senior Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. In the same year, they also became a Professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn at the University of Ottawa. In 1997, they joined the Hintonburg Community Association, where they served as the co-Chair of the Zoning Committee. Jay also became a member of the Board of Directors. Jay remained in these roles until September 2020.

Jay Baltz completed their education with a Postdoctoral degree in Reproductive Biology from Harvard Medical School, which they attended from 1986 to 1993. Prior to that, they earned a PhD in Biophysics from The Johns Hopkins University, where they studied from 1978 to 1986. Jay Baltz also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained from 1975 to 1978. Their major was Physics (Hon), with a minor in Drama. Jay completed their high school education at Central High School from 1971 to 1975, as a part of Class 234.
