Kumanan Wilson

Kumanan Wilson is an accomplished leader in health research and clinical practice, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer at Bruyère Research Institute since November 2018, as well as Vice President of Research and Academic and Senior Advisor in Digital Health. In addition to roles at CANImmunize as Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Executive Officer since June 2019, Kumanan Wilson holds a scholar position at the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law from July 2023. At the University of Ottawa, Kumanan Wilson serves as a Faculty of Medicine Clinical Research Chair in Digital Health Innovation and a Professor of Medicine. Other notable positions include Internal Medicine Physician at The Ottawa Hospital and Senior Scientist at Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, where Kumanan Wilson also holds the Canada Research Chair in Public Health Policy. Kumanan Wilson's prior experience includes academic and clinical roles at the University of Toronto and University Health Network, along with a solid educational background in medicine and public health from esteemed institutions including McMaster University and Western University.
