Zeinab Ebrahimzadeh is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute since November 2020, leading and managing projects related to local calcium transients during cell division and the impact of tissue-specific knockouts of ornithine decarboxylase on ovarian physiology, while also supervising graduate students. Prior to this, Zeinab worked as a Lab Scientist at Global Urgent and Advanced Research and Development (GUARDRX) for a short period in 2020, contributing to COVID-19 diagnostics in remote industrial areas. Earlier experience includes a role as a research assistant at Institut Pasteur from 2007 to 2009, focusing on vaccine design and the relationship between Leishmania pathogenesis and human genomic polymorphisms. Zeinab holds a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology obtained from Université Laval, where a Master's degree in the same field was also completed.
