Umit Gunaydin

Umit Gunaydin is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in systems administration and technical support, currently serving as the ITS Systems Administrator Technical Lead at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology since 2008. Umit has held various roles within the institution, including ITS Systems Administrator Level 2 and Level 1, where responsibilities included managing Active Directory, network operating systems, and providing tier support for IT infrastructure. In addition to administrative duties, Umit also teaches as a part-time professor for the Computer Systems Technician Program, specializing in Windows support and administration. Previous roles include IT Help Desk at Senators Sports & Entertainment and key technical roles at Dell Canada Inc., where Umit supervised teams and provided technical support to various clients. Umit holds multiple credentials in Computer Systems Technology and Business Intelligence from Algonquin College and the Ontario College of Trades.
