Darius Contractor has extensive work experience in various leadership roles focused on growth, product, and engineering. Darius is currently the Chief Growth Officer at Otter.ai, where they oversee growth strategies. Prior to that, they served as the Interim Head of Growth at Otter.ai and as the Chief Product & Engineering Officer at Vendr.

Darius also has a background in growth and product roles at major tech companies. Darius was the VP Growth at Airtable and the Head of Product Growth for Facebook Messenger, where they led teams and drove growth through experiments and collaborations. Darius also held the position of Head of Growth Engineering at Dropbox, where they focused on user acquisition, activation, and retention, as well as monetization efforts.

Before their corporate roles, Darius made significant contributions to startups and non-profit organizations. Darius was the VP of Product, Growth, and Engineering at Bebo, where they played a key role in monetization, retention, and viral elements. Darius also served as the Founding/Interim CTO at FWD.us, helping establish its engineering team and promote policies for the tech community.

Early in their career, Darius worked at Monster Worldwide, where they held roles such as Head of Product & Engineering for Ringo.com and Product Engineer for Tickle. These experiences allowed him to work on photo processing, viral tools, and social networking features.

In addition to their professional roles, Darius has also been an active investor and advisor for multiple companies, including Calm, Clubhouse, and Goodreads.
