John Comerford

John Comerford is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in higher education administration. Currently serving as President of the Coalition for the Common Good since July 2023 and President of Otterbein University since July 2018, John has demonstrated a commitment to institutional excellence and community engagement. Prior leadership roles include serving as President at Blackburn College from July 2013 to June 2018 and as Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Dean of Student Life at Westminster College from July 2005 to May 2013. John's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from The University of Kansas, an MS in College Student Personnel Administration from the University of Central Missouri, and a BA in Political Science from Western Illinois University.
