Thanh Ly

Thanh Ly has worked in the tech industry since 2006. At Dell, they worked as a Project Manager, partnering with global teams to build a next generation online order management system and managing key projects within a $3.5B enterprise software licensing portfolio. In 2013, they moved to The Joint Industry Board of the Electrical Industry as a Senior Project Manager, establishing a PMO to effectuate modern project management and implementing a claims management system for New York State's largest self-insurer. Since 2018, they have been the Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder at OtterTax, managing the cloud SaaS product, operations and financials while stimulating growth and driving adoption.

Thanh Ly obtained a degree in International Business from the University at Buffalo between 1998 and 2003. In 2010, they obtained a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI. In 2014, they obtained a Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) certification from SCRUMstudy and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from VMEdu Inc.
