Lauri Heilala

Lauri Heilala is an experienced professional in the forestry and energy sectors, currently serving as the Director of Fuel Sourcing at Oulun Energia -konserni since June 2021. Prior to this role, Lauri held various positions at UPM - The Biofore Company, including Manager of Forest Customers, where responsibilities included securing wood supply for Pietarsaari mills and providing forestry services to private forest owners. Lauri's career began with roles as a Forest Officer at MHY Pyhäjokilaakso, and as a research assistant at the University of Helsinki, focusing on biocoal development. Lauri also holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Forest Technology and Forest Management from the University of Helsinki.
