Kyler C. has a diverse work experience in the field of battery engineering and research. Kyler is currently working as the Principal Battery Engineer - Next Gen Cell Lead at Our Next Energy (ONE) since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Rivian as a Staff Battery Cell Engineer and Senior Battery Cell Engineer, with a tenure from April 2021 to April 2023. Kyler also worked at Wildcat Discovery Technologies as the Lead Scientist and Scientist from May 2015 to April 2021. Other notable roles include being a Visiting Research Associate and Senior Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from November 2013 to present, an Engineer at General Atomics from August 2018 to January 2019, and a Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at UC San Diego from July 2010 to June 2013. Prior to these positions, Kyler was a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University from May 2007 to May 2010, a Quality Assurance Technician at Surefil LLC from August 2006 to May 2007, and engaged in Undergraduate Research at the University of Toledo from June 2006 to August 2006.

Kyler C. has a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Aquinas College - Grand Rapids. They also hold a PhD in Inorganic/Materials Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University.
