Jason Frye

Jason Frye serves as an Associate Producer and Segment Host for PBS North Carolina's Emmy award-winning North Carolina Weekend since September 2023. With extensive experience as an author and photographer for Moon Travel Guides, Frye has contributed to the creation of the Moon North Carolina Guidebook. As a copywriter and content strategist for Empowering You Consulting, Frye focuses on developing strategic messaging, while also contributing articles to AAA Go! Magazine and Our State Magazine as a food blogger and history writer. In addition, Frye is the president of Teakettle Junction Productions, offering creative and technical writing services, and has founded a community-based creative writing class. Education includes an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a BA in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Marshall University.
