Kayla Overton

Kayla Overton is a Digital Marketing Specialist at Our State Magazine, where Kayla has been employed since August 2022. Previously, Kayla held positions as a Marketing and Communications Specialist at Fortuna Enterprises, LLC, and as a Technical Layout Designer at SonicAire. Kayla also served as a Program Director at Carolina Cross Connection and gained valuable experience as a Marketing Intern at Viibrant and Truliant Federal Credit Union. Additional roles included a College Program Intern at Walt Disney World and a Camp Coordinator at Carolina Cross Connection. Kayla began their professional journey as an Office Assistant at Carolina Housing and worked as a Shift Manager at Southwest Athletics. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations from the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, attained in May 2021, and has a background from the National Academy Foundation.
