Kayla Romero Morais has extensive experience in various roles related to education equity and community organizing. Currently, with Our Turn, Kayla serves as the Chief Growth Officer, directing efforts to recruit and train student leaders to address educational inequity through grassroots organizing. Prior to this, Kayla held positions with Teach For America and Latin American Coalition, where Kayla focused on recruitment and grassroots organizing strategies. Kayla's dedication to education equity is evident through their work as a teacher, community organizer, and leader in extracurricular activities aimed at promoting student success and empowerment.
