Sebastian S. is an accomplished information security leader with extensive experience across multiple sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Information Security at Ouster since September 2022, Sebastian has successfully built an information security program, including an incident response plan, ISMS, and governance for M&A activities. Prior roles include Associate Director of Information Security at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc., where efforts focused on enhancing cybersecurity posture through automation and the establishment of a Security Operations Center. Sebastian has also held positions such as CTO at Xterra Solutions Inc., Cloud Security Architect at ENERPARC AG, and various roles in consulting, leading teams in compliance assessments and cloud security architecture design. Sebastian holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Technische Universität Berlin and an Advanced Computer Security Certificate from Stanford Continuing Studies.
