Andrew Farwell

Andrew Farwell has a diverse range of work experience in the music and entertainment industry. Andrew began their career as a Band Liaison at Right Hook Solutions, where they compiled a database of bands and gained experience in small business operations. Andrew then served as the Northeast Representative for the Music and Entertainment Industry Student Association (MEISA), where they helped plan and organize a regional conference and facilitated the establishment of a new MEISA chapter at Johnson & Wales University.

Farwell then took on the role of Resident Advisor at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where they organized programs and acted as a liaison between students and the administration. Andrew also held the position of Director of Campus Events for the Music and Entertainment Industry Student Association, where they booked live bands and effectively promoted shows, resulting in increased attendance.

In 2009, Farwell briefly worked as a Dressing Room Assistant at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where they facilitated communication between touring productions and concert production, assisted with artist hospitality, and managed backstage areas.

From 2008 to 2010, Farwell served as an Assistant at the International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA), where they managed the online store and membership database, handled financial transactions, and distributed tickets for events.

In their most recent position, Farwell has been with Outback Presents since 2010. Andrew started as a Concert Promoter before being promoted to the role of Director of Live Entertainment in 2019. Andrew is currently the Vice President of the company.

Andrew Farwell attended the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a BM degree in Music Business. In May 2020, they also obtained a certification in Contract Law from HarvardX.
