Ryan O'Shea (He/Him)

Ryan O'Shea (He/Him) has been working in the tech industry since 2014. Ryan began their career as an IT Recruitment Consultant at HR Advance - Headhunting | Recruitment. In 2015, they joined MultiChoice as a VOD (Video On Demand) Scheduler/Incident Management Team (VOD Department). In 2016, they were promoted to Head of Talent Acquisition at TribeTech (PTY) LTD, where they were responsible for new business development, managing staff, and managing staff KPI's and KPA's. In 2017, they moved to TCX (PTY) LTD and held the roles of Head of Talent and Talent Acquisition Specialist. In 2019, they joined The African Talent Company (TATC) as a Senior Information Technology Recruiter. In 2020, they took on the role of Talent Acquisition Manager and Web Developer at Rent A Recruiter SA, where they were responsible for the management of two Senior Recruitment Consultants and three Web Developers, as well as assisting with web development of the in-house systems. Ryan also held the role of Senior Recruitment Consultant at Yoco in 2020. In 2021, they joined +OneX as the Head of Recruitment and Derivco as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. Currently, they are the Strategic Development Director at Outco Inc., where they coach job-seeking software engineers to reach their full potential and values individuals for who they are, striving to make the tech landscape a more diverse and inclusive one.
