James Yang

VP, Product Development at Outcome Chains

James Yang is the current Vice President of Product Development at Outcome Chains. James has over fifteen years of experience in the field of architecture and software development.

James began their career as a Principal Consultant at Versant in 1995. James then moved to Vitria in 1998 where they became the Director of Consulting. In 2003, James left Vitria to join Savvion as their Senior Architect. Their time at Savvion was successful, and they were responsible for leading a team of world-class consultants who delivered Savvion products to their Fortune 500 clients.

In 2004, James left Savvion to join Wells Fargo as their System Architect. James was part of the Wells Fargo Architecture team and delivered architecture services to their mission-critical projects. After a successful year at Wells Fargo, James left in 2005 to join WageWorks as their Vice President of Architecture.

At WageWorks, James was responsible for platform strategy and architecture development, engineering execution, and the development of a highly customizable multi-tenant SaaS product. James also oversaw the development of a large-scale payment system and an offshore development center. Under James' leadership, WageWorks had a successful IPO in 2012.

In December 2015, James left WageWorks to join Outcome Chains as their Vice President of Product Development.

James Yang received their MS in Computer Science from The University of Texas at San Antonio. James is currently a PhD student in the same field at Beijing Institute of Technology.

James Yang reports to J.B. Wood, President, CEO. Some of their coworkers include Melissa King - Customer Success Manager, Tom Pridham - SVP, Sales, and Martin Dove - COO.
