Gihan de Mel

Gihan de Mel is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in family medicine and general practice. Currently serving as a Medical Editorial Board Member at Heidi Health and a General Practitioner/Specialist Family Physician with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners since February 2018, Gihan is also an active member of the Monash Health GP Advisory Committee and the Board of Advisors at Goto.Health. With a background in clinical fellowship at Outcome Health and practice at Next Practice and Casey Medical, Gihan has developed expertise in digital health consulting and clinical intelligence. Gihan's qualifications include a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from Monash University, a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from The University of Notre Dame Australia, and a Specialist Fellowship in General Practice from Eastern Victoria GP Training/RACGP.
