Carolyn Beem

Carolyn Beem is an experienced professional with a strong background in public affairs and sustainability. Currently serving as a Board Member for the Retail Association of Maine and the Maine State Chamber of Commerce, as well as participating in various committees for the American Apparel and Footwear Association and the Outdoor Industry Association, Carolyn is actively involved in promoting industry interests. Previously, Carolyn held the role of Sr. Manager of Public Affairs at L.L.Bean from 2007 to June 2020, where strategic communication and advocacy were key responsibilities. Carolyn also contributed to the United Way Corporate Campaign in 2016 as Co-Chair. Carolyn holds a Master's degree from the Muskie School of Public Policy and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Maine.
